Re: MPs want clarity on broadband plans and to scrap 50p tax

didn't the MP's hear about the UK broadband netwrork being brought to a standstill by people watching the ashes at work on Sky player?

There doesn't need to be " a killer app" broadband consumption is on the rise steadily and now what what Xbox, PS3, Wii, Virgin TV and Sky Anytime+ VOD and project canvas on the way all under your TV and more and more PC apps coming along how bad does it need to get before the government actually does something.

Traffic shaping and bandwidth throttling is taking place for so many customers that if we don't act now we could happily be sitting in the internet dark ages before too long.
