BT reduce minimum FTTC speed and reveal FTTP will not replace FTTC
People with longer lines will also benefit from BT's next generation deployments as the company announces that it will connect people up with a minimum speed of 5Mbps. Areas that already have fibre-to-the-cabinet are unlikely to see this replaced by fibre-to-the-home any time soon though.
