Latest Unbundled Exchanges And Dates
We have added an extra page to our CMS, this checks using the data from Sam Knows, for the latest enabled exchange dates and locations for Be* and O2.
O2User - Latest Be* / O2 enabled exchanges. Please note, we have no control of this data, and it is as up to date, as the data on Sam Knows This is a work in progress addition, and we hope to have a full list of enabled exchanges added to it asap

Hi After an exchange of emails with o2 I received the following
Thanks for your reply. I've checked on the exchange you're connected to, and the good news is your exchange has been unbundled (i.e. we've got our equipment in there now). We'll be started to move customers across to our equipment shortly in your exchange, and we'll let you know when this is happening. This should fix any issues you've currently got with BT. In the mean time we'll try and sort out the service you're currently getting. I cannot find confirmation of this anywhere on checkers eg samknows A further mail from o2Unfortunately we have no official date yet to when we will switch your service to LLU. The Kent exchange has only recently went active and we have a dedicated team who are working through all orders. As soon as we are able to migrate you seamlessly from our Access product to LLU then we will send you a text message and an email to let you know. So I phoned them, they took my phone number and said that I would have a possible speed of 6megs on checking ![]() ![]() how do I order it and when will it show as active anywhere... |

Re: Latest Unbundled Exchanges And Dates
An exchange can sometime take upto 30 days to become active for connections. (as they will be installing dslams and making sure it all works etc) It maybe at that point it would appear on exchange checkers. (ours checks Sam Knows, and so would be exactly the same data as Sam's site)
It maybe just a case of a few days, reading your post, it would appear O2 have everything in hand and will move you across as soon as its ready for customers.

Re: Latest Unbundled Exchanges And Dates
It often happens that an exchange will to go live after the LLU kit has been delivered, but not installed, so there is a delay before you can get connected. Meanwhile an ISP will oftern take orders for the service, and are then champing at the bit to get their kit running. This leaves little time for and post install checks, any faults that occure are delt with as new customers are connected. This is not so bad with just BB but problems can occure when the customer takes phone service as well (BB but no dial tone, no BB that sort of thing)
