just got off the phone with sky and the cs agent i spoke to gave me my mac code there and then.....
even support at sky haven't been updated on all the changes going on there....
now its a matter of giving it to o2.
happy days.....hopefully.
just entered my mac and it said

Thanks. You successfully sent us your MAC key



That's all we need. It should take about two weeks to switch you to
O2 Broadband. We'll keep you informed of the progress of your order, and
you should have O2 Broadband within two weeks.
cant find a smiley face but believe me theres a big cheesey one sat here typing this........

I am so glad I hopped to O2 once there was space on my exchange it's been a much better experience than with Sky.

O2 will bombard you with information, I got 9 texts and emails with status information and a text and email each month saying when they are taking money.

You feel like you know what is happening with them

Just make sure Sky stops charing you for BB though.

nice one m8,as it goes ive had 6 txts since yesterday with updates.my router is on the way and im due for activation on monday.i wanted to come to o2 when my contract was up anyway so all this mess about with the 30gb drop in usage on the mid package has done me a favour..i'll keep an eye on my sky bill aswell...thanks
