Going to make this my last post.

Not sure for how long, but it's clear I'm letting myself get far too wound up by the debacle with O2 to the point I'm starting to get narky to the good folks on this site and that's just plain bad form...e.g. I've never hijacked threads before just to rant...

If I've offended anyone here over the last few days please accept my sincerest apologies - it was never my intention to get narky.

Seeya around.

Tony.

Tony - I don't think you've offended anyone so no need for an apology.

I do hope that you get things sorted out the way you want them. It will be a shame if we lose you. You've been a great help on this forum.

Re: Going to make this my last post.

Tony, everyone is entitled to rant if they are unhappy. It's when you rant and make it personal and swear etc that people would take offence.

You have done nothing wrong, you have just let off steam. As Saturday says, no need to apologise.

Re: Going to make this my last post.

Damn you guys rock. Thanks for that and thanks for letting me spout off about it.

I could see myself turning into one of those "angry posters" and didn't want to ruin a great forum where it just doesn't happen. Thanks again.

I'm in a calmer frame of mind today - I can see no reason to bin my broadband at this point in time (why cut off my nose to spite my face when it works as well as it does? And as it was pointed out, the O2 broadband guys are separate from the O2 mobile guys and it's not fair to tar them with the same brush) and I've got a complaint lodged at the highest level I can with O2 mobile, so now all I can do is wait and see what comes of it.

Thank you all again.

You have been sweetness and light compared to how I reacted to NTL mucking up time and again.

Re: Going to make this my last post.

Velcro pant? Cool... The mischief you could up to with a pair of those...Like some 70's porn film...

Queue wooden Swedish accent: "I am here to fix your refrigerator...oh dear my clothing has fallen off, would you like to f...?"

Thanks for the kind words guys

And for making me smile. A lot.

Re: Going to make this my last post.

Damn you Tony or should I call you Swen he say's kicking his blond wig and fake droopy tash under the carpet

Im in a state of shock myself.... there is something very very wrong....

I have had a standard sky box for years it started to play up and the I decided to bite the bullet and order a HD+ box £99 + £ 60 fitting. Phoned Monday fitting arranged for Thursday.

Chap calls Weds night to confirm time, Thurs chappie arrives on time, installs and sets everything up cleans up, refuses a brew and chunky kitkat :-o

Everything works :-o Im gobsmacked he was a sky installer not a generic one but he took 1.5hrs to install it all.

Cable clipped well brick cover installed etc

Im just waiting for the box to set on fire
