If that's 2750 throughput on a sync of 3309 then no, there's no real improvement possible there. I was thinking sync though. A sync of 3309kbps would normally be achieved with a downstream attenuation of ~57db providing the line is relatively noise free. If your attenuation is much less than that then there may be scope to get your sync up. If that seems likely then start a new thread in the help forum and I'll be happy to help you troubleshoot.

Re: The official say hello thread

Hello all newcomers, just a quick reminder that for the 1st 10-15 days your on DLM (digital line management) where the line is configured to give the best possible stable line so expect speeds etc to wander about.

You will get a text after DLM has completed to say that it is over and whether or not your on the correct package.

Also expect some issues to arise due to the bitterly cold weather we're having at the moment which will affect speed etc.

Smile Re: The official say hello thread

Hi,
I have just joined up to o2 premium today, still awaiting my mac code, asked sky 2 days ago,so i expect to receive it at the end of the week,o2 estimate my speed at 20mb.I live 450 metres from the exchange.I used skyuser forum for nearly 12 months, and found it very very helpful, and saved me phoning up sky on their expensive no.I know o2user will also be excellent,so thank you to the founders and moderators and members for all the help and support you will give

Thank You
Michael

Re: The official say hello thread

Thanks - and welcome

The slowest part will be waiting for Sky to give you your MAC (in my experience). Once O2 have it then things should fly along.

Re: The official say hello thread

Yeah it was 5 days to get the letter from Sky and 7 days for the text (meant to be within 48 hours)

But you WILL get tons of information about what happens with your order, I got about 9 texts about what was happening with O2.
