O2 Broadband (LLU) Recommended

I'm in my first (of three free) months with O2 and am really impressed so far.

Connection happened when promised and it worked well/fast straight away. I've had no need to speak to customer services since connection but was impressed with them before signing up.

I've previously used Orange (very poor), Sky (OK but recent 50% price hike) and I would certainly recommend O2 (LLU) to others on the basis of both price and performance.

Hopes this helps others in deciding

Re: O2 Broadband (LLU) Recommended

i have been with o2 since 17th may and am well impressed with things so far .had to ring customer service on the 1st day ,could not get the wifes xp machine to connect wirelessly my windows 7 machine was up and running in 10mins took 2grs to sort out the xp machine, but still had problems every day with xp machine until i replaced the dongle and software all is now ok..one of the o2 advisors picked up on the low speed even withthe router in the test socket, since then we have had a replacement router just in case the original was faulty.no change with the speed, next step was to get an open reach engineer to attend on a bank holiday saturday!he checked at the exchange full 20meg at the exchange but only 2 at the test socket, the socket was swopped for a filtered face plate and various connections remade and we have a speed of 5meg other line testing was not done due to bts systems being offline so a revisit is awaited,so far its been 150% effort on o2s part to get thigs running

Re: O2 Broadband (LLU) Recommended

I've been with O2 for about 18mths - same reasons as most others here, I suspect (migrated to Sky from Nildram and from Sky because of the price hike and poor tech support).

I've been happy with them since I made the move and for now I see no reason to change to any other provider.

Broadband-wise - best decision I've made so far.

O2's decision to have a presence here is to be appreciated also. I've never dealt with a Broadband provider with such high standard of customer service and just hope you can manage to keep it up (no doubt there are number crunchers in the company who see it as a potentially easy saving). In the longer term I'm sure the current approach can't help but be a market winner.

Hi Allen

I'm really pleased to hear your comments about our service. We'll definitely try and provide the same level of effective service and keep our customers satisfied. I second your thoughts on current approach as it certainly has a cutting edge over other providers.

Re: O2 Broadband (LLU) Recommended

i been on o2 Broadband for about a 2 weeks now and i very happy with the service and the performance. I to was with Sky Broadband once they had poor customer service and they didnt really help me that much. Just to prove to the speed boost i am getting.

i was getting around 3.5Mbps(Download) 0.65(Upload). I cant get the results from a speed test website since i am no longer with them

Results from o2 Broadband

As you can see a major increase in speed & upload

Good to know that you're happy to get an increase in the speeds.
