Gaming with the O2 router...
Just my two pence worth - there seem to be a lot of posts about gaming on O2 which come down to the same cause: the router.
If you want to game with O2, I would seriously recommend changing the router to a Netgear (such as an old Sky one, reflashed). From what I can tell from my own delving into the innards of the O2 boxes, the options you set in the web browser menu often don't quite set what you'd expect if you look at the command line and some of the workarounds I've seen such as disabling intrusion detection or putting your PC/XBox onto the DMZ seem a little...incautious for want of a better term. Just my own thoughts - feel free to explain why I'm mistaken if you feel such ![]()
