Re: Can't Stream?

Thanks for your help Saturday. I'll ring them and ask. When I joined O2 Ichoose the standard tariff, then changed to the Premium, but found the speeds weren't that much different, so went back to Standard again. Would that make any difference? Previously when I've rang them, they've 'messed' on with certain things which are beyond my knowledge, so wonder if they've cocked someting up in the process.
As I've said I'll ring them and see what they say.
thanks again.

They may have overcompensated for your poor line condition by increasing your noise margin too much BUT, a line problem you certainly have, whatever your telephone engineer may have told you.

It's impossible to diagnose remotely and the changes O2 have made will obscure the real position but your upstream sync is showing signs of struggling. Sometimes but not always, this indicates a filter problem (missing or faulty) or occasionally a phone handset problem.

Re: Can't Stream?

Thanks Saturday. Sorry I've not replied earlier, but just to update things. After reading your responce I rang O2 and they agreed with your findings, so what they've done is 'downgrade' my BB to ASDL- (NOT ASDL+ which is what I was on) and tweaked some of my other settings to eliminate noise. This was done not long after your post and so far it seems fine. Pages are loading better and I think the streamings better, but to be honest I've been doing other things so haven't really had time to check.

They said that ASDL could've been the setting I was on with Sky as I didn't have any problems at all then, so, so far so good-fingers crossed streaming etc is ok too and long may it continue.
