Re: Slow(er) Wireless Speeds..
DLM takes up to 15 days but is much quicker if the line tests OK - mine was about 3 days. Most people seem to be well under 10 days.
If you're set up to receive SMSs then yes, you should get one and an email to your O2 address. It says something like "testing has completed on your line", or used to anyway. O2 doesn't use DLM as such, it's just connection/sync monitoring. Unlike Sky, at the end of testing DLM is turned off. BTW, O2 do ask for the router back so keep it safe if you decide to use one of your other routers. Last edited by Saturday; 01-06-09 at 06:35 PM.. |

Re: Slow(er) Wireless Speeds..
Well early hours of this morning I recieved an email from O2...short and simple..
"Just a note to say that we've completed a health check on the actual speed of your O2 Home Broadband line. The good news is that everything is fine" Do I take it that there talking about the connection/sync monitoring?? If so bye bye O2 router, Hello Netgear ![]() |

Re: Slow(er) Wireless Speeds..
Different wording than I got a few months ago but I think you can safely assume that the line/connection testing is complete.
