well my VM connection died today and so I thought - I wonder... plugged in the O2 router and I am connected. Now, as the activation date is allegedly tomorrow, will I potentially damage my max connection speed by having this connected now?

Stats from the O2 II box are:

Uptime: 0 days, 0:07:10

DSL Type: G.992.5 annex A

Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,330 / 18,821

How do I get the noise stats etc? Have the O2BoxII - but the password in the tutorials for SuperUser (O2Br0ad64nd) doesn't work.

O2 box stats say I am on "O2 Standard (modified by user)" when I signed up to Premium....problem? Maybe I -should- unplug 'til my activation date tomorrow?

Re: connected before activation date?

Connecting your router before the connection date shouldn't give any problems.
