thanks for the repsonse , its put it all into perspective and your right the difference between 3db and 6db is marginal. the frustration of not being able to play xbox live/ stayed connected to servers etc was the reason of my rant. While 02 have spend more money on fixing my issue than what i'll pay for the next two years. It took 3 different engineers to fix nothing. each time they left they told me the case is open and unresolved therefore another engineer had to come back. they couldnt spot the fault beacuse 02 had capped the line. all in all though its seems solid at 6db now. btw i hever asked for a 3db profile both time i was offered it from the 02 and simply told if it doesnt work they call back and we'll adjust it accordinly, its not as if i said squeeze more or im leaving

I really hope it's all sorted for you now - I understand how frustrating it can get when things go wrong.

Pretty bizarre that O2 was offering you a 3db profile when you had a line issue. Can't think what they were playing at
