At the command prompt type telnet

Then type open 192.168.1.254

Enter your username and password

O2 Users log in with SuperUser (the ID seems to be CASE SENSITIVE, ie with S and U in capitals)
Password: O2Br0ad64nd ie with digits 2064, the first O & B being capital letters

cut and paste the following

dns server route flush
dns server route add dns=208.67.222.222 metric=0 intf=O2_ADSL2plus
dns server route add dns=208.67.220.220 metric=0 intf=O2_ADSL2plus
dns server route list
saveall
Awesome, your advice worked great on Mac OS X as well. I opened Terminal and ran $ telnet

The only pitfall I found was I had to change the blank default password for Administrator via the GUI before I was allowed SuperUser access. O2 Wireless Box II

telnet> open 192.168.1.254
Trying 192.168.1.254...
Connected to 192.168.1.254.
Escape character is '^]'.

Sorry for the late reply but on my box you can also put them in by running the configuration wizard.

But why not just leave your O2 box and enter a static OpenDNS in to say your PS3 network settings, or any PC's you want to use them on? That way your O2 box stays pretty 'standard'.

I find the more people change, the greater the likelihood that they'll do something wrong and the more difficult it becomes to fault-find.
