upload gone down
i cant quite work this out,i had my snm profile put down to 3.5 to see what would happen and its raised my up and down a bit.the line is still ok but when i do a speed test my actual upload has gone down by alot, even though im syncing alot higher???

Re: upload gone down
A 3db profile on a line with your attenuation
![]() It's simple - either the speedtest servers are unreliable (most are) or your low noise margin isn't giving the router enough margin to distinguish between noise and signal, so although your sync is higher, the throughput is lower due to the need for large amounts of corrupt data having to be retransmitted. My guess is a bit of both but definitely the latter. |
