Hi all,
I'm about to migrate from Sky. I currently have MAC address filtering Sky router. Is there a similar option for this on the O2 box? Thanks |

Re: MAC address filtering on the o2 wireless box II
Well, I am about to do the same as Sky have shaved off 30GB from my download quota. I am asking second questions.
I have received the O2 wireless box and I don't see anything like that in there. On sky I have; MAC filtering Access rules (Internet available from XX to YY hours). Some IP addresses barred Keyword based filtering (keep porn and gambling sites out of reach) I am going to be missing these with O2 unless someone can enlighten me. Tell me if I am missing something. Also, I could not find how to change the default IP address of 192.168.1.254 to say 192.168.20.1 or something similar. I can't believe these are missing. If they are then maybe I shall stay with sky. Maybe there is a workaround. Thanks and Regards, StarGold |
