Re: up load?

Do you mean upload (throughput) or upstream sync?

The sync is affected by line noise whereas throughput (or rather apparent throughput) can be affected by many things, the most common being the very poor performance speedtesters offer when measuring upload in particular.

If not that (and I'd bet it's the case in the majority of instances) then next up would be that you have something downloading/uploading in background - remember every packet downloaded has an overhead in upload.

Re: up load?

im happy with the sync on the router, its just speed test results seem to of gone down(upload result)??like you say, probably the tests.only things i have on is,avira, windows defender,superantispyware,malwarebytes..!i dont really download and i dont think ive got anything else on in the background???most of those only run if i turn them on to scan...i think?
i get something in my head and it does my head in till i learn all about it,ialways think its something im missing
