Whats the best policy durin DLM with 02?

when dlm starts with o2 do you think its best to just leave router plugged into test scoket until complete or just leave it in my filtered adsl faceplate?

also i have heard that if u force the router everyday to reset during dlm you get more speeds this correct or another tips i cud use to get most out of my line?

My router is situation 6" away from master socket and plugs in direct via ethernet cable

I'm a little confused. You might join O2 in December but you want to know fine detail about what you need to do under DLM and whether you can force or request a different result? Looking at your posts in other threads, all your questions seem to be about how you might get around problems you haven't got and probably never will have.

There's nothing like forward planning

Re: Whats the best policy durin DLM with 02?

That's some planning ahead...four months' worth??

A lot can change in that time and any advice you're given now may not actually be useful then.

But, I would suggest not restarting the router - my own understanding is that this could be seen as a problem with the line and actually reduce the final speed you get.

But I could be wrong. It's been known more than once.
