Hi,
I just bought this box from someone on ebay to upgrade the box II I had. It's doing some odd things. Mainly it: 1. shows 3 'dsldevice' with IP addresses all of 0.0.0.0 in the devices list. 2. I have a switch connected to it but for some devices they show as connected to (null) (Unknown) rather than 'ethport2' which my switch is attached to. These items when connected via DHCP are given an IP address but show as inactive. 3. It never asked for an admin password the first time I connected? Is this because Firefox assumed it to be the same page? It never did this on the old box II. Anyone have any ideas? Cheers! Paul. |

Try a full reset. Also you may recall that the Admin login didn't have a password set initially on the Wireless II box either when you first used it.

I did using the button on the box but it does the same.
Plus there's an odd wireless network already setup when I revert back? Would Revert to Factory Default do the same thing? |

Did you press the button for long enough?

Re: O2 Wireless box III showing items connection to (null) (Unknown)?
I sorted it by using the Restore To Factory Resets this time.
Although I need to contact O2 support as I'm having exactly the same problem with this router as a new D-Link one whereby my connection slows right down after a while. Doesn't do it on the original box The fact 2 routers have done that including an official O2 one would indicate a problem at their end. |
