Hi,
For the last couple of weeks, since being connected to o2 broadband, I have been recieveing consistent speeds of around 6/7 Meg. At around 22.10 tonight, my router re-synced for no apparent reason (no low SNR), sync dropped from 8233 to 7535 straight away, and my throughput has gone down to the point where my upload is faster than my download. Most recent speed test; Today 22:27 689 kbps (86.1kB/s) 894 kbps (112kB/s) Before speed drop; Today 21:31 6042 kbps (755kB/s) 1059 kbps (132kB/s) Has anyone else experienced this issue? I am connected to exchange Sandal (MYSAN), West Yorks. Thanks in advance, Sam |

Re: Sudden Throughput Drop
Have you tried rebooting the router. It may be something going on at the exchange.
Are you using wireless or wired? Try a different speed tester. |

Re: Sudden Throughput Drop
Yeah, have tried rebooting router and using different speed tests, all with (roughly) the same 1 meg result. Have just been on hold for 20 minutes (tech support queues are getting longer by the second) and have been told that some internal o2 system is being updated, they can't help until 10am tommorow morning.... just wanted to see whether anyone else had been experiencing the same issue.

Re: Sudden Throughput Drop
And have been using both wired/wireless for speedtests, usually use wireless for general browsing etc. they still come back with same result.
