Getting started

Hi,
New to forum but need help!!!
I've O2 home broadband (for 3 weeks now) have still not recieved a router so I can't get internet access. I have been told that I can use my Netgear DG834 by O2, they seem to be having problems getting a router to me and suggested that I buy one from O2 shop then fax the receipt to get credit!!

I need help to set this up, please bear in mind that I'm not a techie kind of person, so any help would need to be novice orientated.

Currently using a USB to get online.

Thanks

Re: Getting started

Have a look at our tutorial section - you'll find a simple guide to setting up your own router to use with O2.

Never heard of O2 having a problem getting a router out to a customer. Any idea what exactly went wrong?

Re: Getting started

I'm at the other end of that spectrum. I ordered O2 on Friday 18th December, received router morning of Monday 21st and was connect and using O2 broadband on the afternoon of Monday 21st. It was a breeze to setup, just plugged the router in and it was done. NO need to install the CD or Mcaffee (already have a subscription to Eset Nod32)
