Dropped signal

Not going into great details here but is anyone having problems with dropped signals when wireless & bad speeds? I'm using O2 11 router and their adapter as I've a desktop machine. It's either slow or dropping signal-I know you get slower speeds wireless but sometimes its abuses it.

I mentioned this the other day when onto O2 and they said it depends on how many are online at the same time which is fair enough, but it's been really bad lately.
