Re: O2 staff are here to help with broadband
hello there and welcome to the site.
I have found that O2 has been excellent for me since I have joined but I do have one question. My exchange is on the BT list to be enabled for fibre to the cabinet (FTTC) by next March. Some ISP's such as Sky and IDnet have announced that they shall be offering a FTTC package, will O2 be offering a FTTC package? |

Re: O2 staff are here to help with broadband
Welcome guys.
It's always nice when a provider actually shows that they care enough to interact with their customers. I will also add, that despite a recent step away from character on my phones, O2 have been fabulous in terms of their customer service and the overall service level of their systems. I actually have a question, now that I think about it - can I bring my (business) broadband under the same account as my (business) mobile phones accounts? Thanks - sorry for the hijack, but it occurred to me as I was typing...lol Tony

Re: O2 staff are here to help with broadband
Hi Tony
Thanks for your post. I’m pleased to hear such positive comments for O2. This is certainly encouraging and we’ll definitely keep up our good work and provide the best quality service. With regards to your question we don’t unfortunately offer business broadband anymore but you can certainly try our Pro package which has lot of benefits https://www.o2broadband.o2.co.uk/broadBandOverview.do Please let us know if you need any help on this. ![]() Iqbal |

![]() Seriously, it is nice to see such a relatively trouble free broadband experience and also a company having the balls to face up to your customers on a public forum.

Re: O2 staff are here to help with broadband
I second that.
Perhaps I wasn't clear on my original question - sorry. I'm perfectly happy with my package and have no desire to change it. My problem (not that it's much of one) is, I have a broadband account and also a mobile phone account. I'd just like them all under one roof, as it were.

Re: O2 staff are here to help with broadband
Morning Tony1044,
Sorry for the mix-up. If you have two O2 Portal accounts (one for your mobile account and one for your Broadband account), you can link the two together. Pick which account you want to use on a regular basis then click 'Link Accounts' to the right of the page (Direct Link: http://registration.o2.co.uk/Identity/ManageIdentity). Make sure you log in, then select 'Link an existing account'. Enter the OTHER O2 portal account and password. The accounts should now be linked. Let us know if you have any problems with this ![]() Paul |
