Morning hammy,

You should be able to transfer a post office line to O2 so you can have O2 Home Broadband and HomePhone.

If you call our sales team @ 0800 230 0202 and they'll be able to confirm the finer details for you.

Paul

Re: Inactive BT line

Afternoon Paul,

That's awesome. The Post Office can activate inactive BT lines for free on monthly contracts.
Thanks for the help.

Hammy.

Re: Inactive BT line

Hi,

Is your line just stopped, or is it actually disconnected?

If it is is 'stop of a start line' it should be able to be live (barring any tech issues or line/box/exchange faults of course!) within 24hrs really...

If it is not just a stopped line, but a 'new line provide' then things may take longer.

Do you get a dial tone? if you do, try to dial 17070 (bt line test) - does it give you a phone number?
