On logging in as SuperUser, one can expect to be able to link the static ip (which should show as O2_Adsl - or something similar) reached via Home/Home Network /Interfaces - with a LAN Device.
The task in question is:- "Assign the public IP address of a connection to a device" The only difficulty here is that no compatible connection is found. Nothing works as it should. O2 are quite silent on this. I sent then pictures of the offending system and have heard absolutely nothing in response. Wonder why O2 is quite reticent about the router NOT being able to do something that it should be able to handle? ![]() |

What is it specifically you are trying to do? - Can it be done with port mapping? We have the box III setup with remote desktop to connect from outside the office, and it works a treat. Maybe I am not understanding specifically what you are trying to do, what are you wanting to assign the static IP to? |

Re: Router next to useless
Fatz - going to be blunt about this, but man you have one very annoying habit of posting something/asking for help and then ignoring the replies, be it in the public forum or in private!
If you want help with something, it'd only be good manners to reply when people do try to provide it to you!
