dlink 2740r problem
Hello everybody,I have a problem with a dlink 2740r router I have just purchased,my netgear dgn2000 crapped out on me so I bought this one,The setup all goes fine until you actually try to to connect to the internet, all lights are green on the router and in the router setup screen the internet online button is green,I have followed the various setup and settings instructions found online but to no avail,I have tried everything I know but have had to go back to the o2 box for now
,any help would be appreciated,cheers......Damian |

Re: dlink 2740r problem
Could be you have exceeded the number of devices the O2 radius server can "remember"i.e. the dlink has connected (hence the green lights) but hasn't been authenticated.
If your dlink allows you to spoof its MAC address then set it to the same as your O2 box - otherwise leave it connected for half an hour and you may well find it then gets authenticated. |
