I know what you mean though - it's felt as though there's been a gradual decline: nothing you can immediately put your finger onto as a huge step change but an erosion of the levels of reliability, speed and service over time.

Makes me wonder if they've bitten off more than they can chew and grown too fast, too quickly.

My problem is business broadband with everyone else seems vastly more expensive but I think it may be time to seriously consider a new provider.

Yeah moving to another provider may be an option. P2P downloading is essential for me and this throttling is making my internet usage basically useless.

The new router is running fine at the moment. Just going to phone o2 to tell them to put my profile back to 6dB or whatever they think will be best.
