That should work

I seem to remember reading somewhere that some users had to log in twice i.e. change user then select change user again. See if that works.

If still no go, do the following (good practice to have a password anyway):

Go to "User Management" and next to Administrator choose "Change my password". You'll now be presented with three blank fields. In the first "Old Password" leave it blank, in the other two type your new password. After confirming you'll then be asked to enter your username and password. These will now be Administrator (note the capital A) and the password you've previously entered.

Then log back in and this time you'll get a prompt and you can enter the superuser credentials.

Re: Sky too O2 on the 10th

Would just like to ask about the errors I have on my line. As you can see my connection has been up for over a day now and no drop outs, speeds are very good as far as i am concerned but the errors seem very high. Shall i just ignore them if everything is hunky dory and im still on DLM will this affect it?

Stats:

Uptime: 1 day, 2:06:49

DSL Type: G.992.5 Annex M US 56

Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,983 / 17,079

Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [GB/GB]: 9.63 / 1.78

Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 13.0 / 18.0

Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 13.0 / 25.0

SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 3.0 / 2.5

Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / BDCM

Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 23 / 0

Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 2 / 0

Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0

Loss of Link (Remote): 0

Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 2 / 0

FEC Errors (Up/Down): 93,478 / 952,942

CRC Errors (Up/Down): 93,478 / 334

HEC Errors (Up/Down): 28,440 / 229

Yes your errors are pretty high (ignore the FEC, it's the CRC that are a worry).

If they are giving no trouble then don't worry. Personally, what I'd do is reboot the router at the quietest time of day (in the morning) as your noise margin has dropped quite low which will be increasing the error levels. Your upstream is struggling a bit with the high Annex M speed.

Reboot when it is quiet (line noise wise) and your noise margin should stay above 6db-ish and your errors will be lower.
