Trouble with O2s BB disk?
Has anyone had any problems installing their O2 BB disk? when it checked my system it told me the Network Adaptor couldn't be found so wouldn't install anything, which I found very strange as it's working fine. I've been online for years using BB without any trouble and checked the network adaptors status in Device manager and its just as I though-alls fine.
I've managed to get online without their software by plugging in the router-I know they say you can do it this way. I rang O2 BB up asking about the adaptor but they couldn't shed any light on it and comfirmed my line was connecting fine, so have just left it like that. I'll be interested to hear if anyone else has had any problems this way??? |

Re: Trouble with O2s BB disk?
To be honest I never have and never would try to use the disc. As you say, you don't need it. The router comes plug and play.

Re: Trouble with O2s BB disk?
Hi Toon...I assume you weren't trying to connect over wireless to it, but by a wired connection?
From memory it won't configure wirelessly. Not that I've used their disks except for anything other than curiosity - mine wouldn't actually write the settings to the router. |
