Re: Just got a sim card
get your mum to phone O2 and attach the sim card to her account first, as to get the discount (which is why you have got it I geuss)
then hopefully somebody at O2 will sort you out over who's name is on the phone sim. |

Re: Just got a sim card
I've now activated my sim card, and is now ready to use.
What is the next stage in the process? With your post, I am assuming my mum has to phone o2 and what should she say? Should she mention the sim is for me? |

Re: Just got a sim card
Doesn't matter who the sim is for or who uses it. Actually there's no requirement to tell O2 any personal info with PAYG.
Whoever it is who has the BB contract with O2 needs to call them and get the number registered against the broadband account to get the discount. That's it - O2 will have all the info they need from the BB registration. If they ask for more then it will just be for marketing purposes. |
